There are no specific pre-requisites for entry into the course.
The double qualification is a unique qualification that includes CHC30121 Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care, the minimum qualification required to gain employment in an education and care service and to become a qualified educator, as well as the CHC50121 Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care.
The diploma level education and care qualification is often required for positions such as room or team leaders in centre-based services, and is necessary to be appointed to educational leadership positions, or to be appointed the nominated supervisor. Overall, these qualifications will teach you to plan, implement and manage programs in early childhood services.
