There is a minimum age requirement of 16 years. It is also preferred that students have obtained minimum school certificate or equivalent.

This nationally recognised Australian child care qualification is Australia's leading child care course. It is the current minimum standard for working in a range of early childhood education roles. This nationally accredited training will teach you how to care for children, nurture their development and make sure their environment is safe and supportive.

Work Placement

The CHC30121 Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care required 160 hours of supervised workplace placement. Your trainer will know when you are ready to work in child care centres and help you find the workplace that meets the requirements.
